Bruce Michael Edgar, FRSA,
moved to Norway in 2009. He has over 25 years experience in sustainable (green) regeneration of sensitive historic sites and towns in Australia and the UK. Bruce's experience includes:

  • working in private and government offices as an architect, planner, urban designer and heritage conservation practitioner specialising on regeneration projects.

  • being a Specialist Planner - Architect, in the NSW Department of Planning (1990-2003), where worked on the disposal and redevelopment of historic Government Properties, from 1990 to 2003.

  • working in the UK for the last 3 1/2 years, as the Senior Urban Designer and Senior Project Manager for the Prince's Foundation (HRH Prince Charles) for the Built Environment and also as Policy Advisor at English Partnerships, (the English Regeneration Agency) on exemplar sustainable regeneration projects. During this period he was also on the Board of a community regeneration company "Pride in Camp Hill" in Warkwickshire near Coventry.

    Geir Tandberg Steigan,
    co-founder of Phoenix Planning Design in 2009, joined as a heritage concept designer. He has 16 years experience in graphic design, maps and illustration, working in Oslo. Geir's experience includes:

  • being a Manager at the Foundation for Urban Renewal in Oslo for seven years, working with planning and architecture matters, as well as meetings and conferences.

  • establishing in 1999, the website www.arkitekturhistiorie.no, a leading online medium in presenting Norwegian architectural heritage, mainly covering history of Oslo.

  • running a private design company, S-Form, which creates design for printed and electronic media. He has also been involved as a board member in two leading neighbourhood organisations.
